Green Fields Nursery School true to it's name is a home away from home where an imaginative & colourful ambience is provided to nurture the carefree young saplings till they blossom. An all around education is imparted in a fun filled environment where teaching and learning are carried out in an interactive manner in an atmosphere of love and care.

The children are exposed to a wide spectrum of experiences bringing about amazing changes in them while broadening their horizon and developing their intellect. Value based education plays a pivotal role in education at GFNS wherein social, moral and spiritual values are taught keeping in mind India's rich cultural heritage and traditions.

Emphasis is laid on the imbibing of good manners and etiquette by the tiny tots wherein respect for elders, punctuality, cleanliness, hygiene, politeness etc. are taught. Good grooming is the key to developing an all round personality.

Innovative Teaching

The school aims at fostering in children an interest in realms unknown. They are encourage to learn new concepts and ideas through a thematic approach. Our curriculum aims to make learning interesting and effortless with new teaching strategies like STEAM activities .The smart classes train young minds with audio visual learning making concepts understandable. Learning corners , power point presentations, role plays ,digital videos make knowledge easy to grasp and comprehend.

Book Corner

"Today a reader. Tomorrow a leader" keeping this phrase in mind the school features a well-equipped library that meets the requirements and interests of the children.A diverse collection of story books, picture books , subjects related books and many more are available.

Rhythm and Rhyme

Music is an essential aspect of our educational curriculum. The school is very interested in the development of the child's musical instincts, which are reinforced with adequate training throughout the year.

We are fortunate to have two music teachers with different specializations. One focuses on classical music while the other specializes in western music. This allows our students to experience a well-rounded education in both art forms.

Sports - a way of life

"Sport is a way of life. "A healthy body is the abode of a healthy mind." We acknowledge the relevance of games and sports in the formation of a child's whole personality. As a result, sporting activities such as yoga, PT, and structured games are equally blended with academics.

Health and Hygiene

The health and well-being of the child is of primary importance. Every possible care of the child is taken during school hours and First Aid is given as and when necessary. Regular checking of nails, hair and cleanliness of uniform is done.

Excursions and Picnics

School organises excursions and picnics each session for the children besides classroom teachings. These excursions and picnics help the children to explore new places and various aspects of life around them which eventually broadens their horizon of knowledge.

Audio Visual Teaching

To make learning more engaging and effective, the school features two audio-visual resource rooms. These audiovisual classes teach children about mythology and moral stories. We have phonetic-based albums at various levels to help students learn about pronunciation and language development. Aside from these, our teachers provide a variety of topics through powerpoint presentations.
